For most Americans, charitable giving to Africa has long been a game of bait-and-switch: "Adopt" a child; Donate a "goat"; Loan small funds "to an entrepreneur".

Giving is not adoption. The "goat" is not actually a goat. And the loan went to subsidize a bank, not directly to an enterprising person. Since when is it OK for good causes to deceive donors?

Now there is an alternative for those who want to support some of the greatest work in Africa.

Covalent Global Capital uses public wealth to create real and fair opportunities for prosperity and well-being in Africa. We work with African-led charities and schools in cities, slums, villages, camps, and towns throughout all of Kenya.

We're an open organization that leverages the position of select donors, both financially and as a caring individual. Our work empowers donors to truly connect with a larger international community and commit to a cause greater than oneself.
